Welcome to Ad's Asylum, the official home of The Last Domino. With this first novel, I've tried to
offer what I love most in a book--interesting characters, page-turning suspense, and a sense of danger
at every turn.
The Last Domino is about Travis Ellroy, a troubled teenager who gets pulled deeper and deeper into
a web of violence and deception. It was inspired by many of the real-life stories of school
shootings that have dominated the news over the past few years. But it also draws on my own
memories of the challenges of being in high school.
As for me, I've been a professional writer for about ten years. I've written mostly for television,
working on shows such as America's Most Wanted, Taboo,
and Double Agents. My latest project, Garage Takeover, will start airing on the
Discovery Channel in late 2004. And I'm completing work on two independent films,
Flesh Remembers and Two Fireflies, which will be shown in limited distribution in 2005.
